Hayden Christensen recently admitted to being knocked around pretty badly while filming stunts on the set of his latest movie 'Jumper'. In fact, the 26-year-old actor feared he would be left partially blind after sustaining a head injury during one fight scene.
Hayden - who plays David Rice, a man who can teleport anywhere in the world - said: "It was a physical part and my character took some beatings. I got knocked around quite a bit.
"I got a nice scar across my hand, I split my ear open, I knocked my head really badly in this one scene and my pupil got stuck in this extremely dilated position, which was really disconcerting because I couldn't see.
"We kept a list of the injuries sustained, and it got pretty long by the end of the movie."
Rachel Bilson, who stars as Hayden's love interest in the film, revealed she was happy to take the hits in her first action role. The former 'O.C.' star added to BANG Showbiz: "I was pretty much injury free, although I had bruises and scratches, but I was more proud of them and showing them off, they were my war wounds."
'Jumper' opens in theaters on Thursday, February 14.
