Angelina Jolie has misplaced her Oscar statue and could not care less about it. “Angie doesn’t care about awards. Sure, it’s a great honor to win an Oscar, but Angie thinks herself as more of a humanitarian and mother than an actor,” an insider revealed. The win was for her role in 'Girl, Interrupted' in 1999, but Ange has more important things to do than worry about an old trophy - one that other actors would kill for.
Jolie apparently gave the statue to her mother Bertrand after the ceremony but it has been missing since her mother died in January 2007, contactmusic.com reported.
You might remember the win. Ange gave one of the weirdest acceptances speeches ever after picking up the award. She kissed her brother James on the lips before walking on stage and telling everyone, “I’m so in love with my brother right now!” much to the horror of the Hollywood crowd in the audience.
