You can call her Hannah Montana, but don't call her Destiny. Miley Cyrus is legally changing her name from her birth name, Destiny Hope Cyrus, to Miley Ray Cyrus.
Her father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, nicknamed her smiley when he realized that she smiled all the time but according to the family, a younger sibling pronounced it Miley - and it stuck.
But now that she's famous, Miley decided it was not her destiny to live life as Destiny.
Miley made the name change official recently and took on her father's middle name Ray.
