Actress Michelle Williams has put work commitments on hold indefinitely while she grieves for her former fiancee Heath Ledger. The 27-year-old was filming the last scenes of new movie Mammoth in Sweden when she heard of her former lover's death last week. The former Dawson's Creek star immediately flew to New York with the couple's two-year-old daughter Matilda where she is expected to stay with family and friends.
The tragedy has prompted the filmmakers behind Michelle's next project Blue Valentine to put the film on hold.
A source tells People.com, "We will hold off until she is ready. The production is in the process of sorting it out in respect to her. We're hoping she will still come back and do the film and are happy to wait.
Williams and Ledger began dating after meeting on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2005. The couple split in September.
