The beehive is history. British singer Amy Winehouse went radical and chopped off that trademark hairstyle that perched on top of her waif-like body. A source tells The Sun, "She just said she felt like it. She'd thought about having a blonde beehive but decided on the shorter look."
A spokesperson for Wino adds of the new peroxide Amy, "She wanted a new look for the New Year."
Will her new look include a new attitude? And will she skip the Grammy awards if she can't come clean with her drug problems?
Winehouse scored six Grammy nominations and (so far) is expected to attend and even sing at the February 10 show. But she has to pass a drug test if she is to get a visa to enter the US, and has to be clean for weeks in order to pass.
"Amy's been told she needs to pass a drug test before she can get a visa. She is doing much better and has cut down her drug use but still isn't clean," a source told The Sun.
The source added: "Her team are desperate to clean her up as the Grammys is such a big deal. But Amy's not so bothered."
