Akon’s fan-throwing court date has pushed back to March, after his lawyer’s appealed to have the case postponed.
Akon is facing misdemeanor endangerment and harassment charges following an incident in New York last June.
The incidence started when an audience threw something at Akon. The teenager was brought up to the stage by security at the request of the singer. Akon then put the teen on his shoulders and threw him back into the audience.
The person landed on another teenager, who later claimed she had been diagnosed with concussion.
Akon will now appear in court on March 5.
