Mary J Blige Speaks in Support of Jamie-Lynn Spears

mary j blige photo Queen of hip hop soul Mary J. Blige has spoken out in support of Britney Spears’ pregnant teenage sister and has urged her to be a responsible mom.

16-year-old Jamie-Lynn Spears announced she was pregnant earlier this week.

Blige, whose had more than her own fair share of drama, tells MTV: "Stay strong, baby girl. If that's her choice [to keep the baby], then congratulations. [I] hope she's responsible, and I hope she understands what that brings."

She adds: "You have to change your lifestyle up, so [your children] can look at you as an example. It's all about Mommy being an example, Jamie. That's what it's about."
