Janet Jackson is reportedly refusing to join her older brothers on a proposed 40-city world tour, because boyfriend Jermaine Dupri doesn't want her to be associated with her “freaky” brother Michael. A music industry insider tells Page Six, “Janet said she would be willing to participate in a few select shows next year, but (her fiancé) Jermaine Dupri is holding her out of it."
“He wants Janet to go back in the studio and record another album," the source said, "and he’s also wary of having her be associated with Michael because he’s gotten such bad press and is just freaky.”
Janet is currently working on her as-yet-untitled album, which is due in February.
