Queen of hip hop soul Mary J. Blige has spoken out in support of Britney Spears’ pregnant teenage sister and has urged her to be a responsible mom.

16-year-old Jamie-Lynn Spears announced she was pregnant earlier this week.

Blige, whose had more than her own fair share of drama, tells MTV: "Stay strong, baby girl. If that's her choice [to keep the baby], then congratulations. [I] hope she's responsible, and I hope she understands what that brings."

Britney Buys Pregnant Lil Sis Gifts

Pop tart Britney Spears has been preparing for her role as Aunt to pregnant lil sis Jamie-Lynn, after being spotted buying gifts for Jamie’s unborn baby.

Spears spent Thursday afternoon snapping up baby clothing in Los Angeles.

Jamie-Lynn has been the subject of controversy for getting pregnant at 16-year-old, but Britney is said to have vowed to support her sister in her decision to keep the baby.

Blonde bombshell Jessica Simpson has shot down rumors she’s signed up to star in a new version of hit movie ‘Pretty Woman’.

It was reported Jess was set to star as in hooker in the role Julia Roberts made famous in the 1990 original version.

"This one's got 'hit' written all over it. Her father [and manager] Joe has been telling anyone who will listen that she's the next Julia," a ‘source’ is quoted as saying.

Christina Aguilera Sets Caesarean Date

Yummy mummy-to-be Christina Aguilera’s has pencilled in a date for her caesarean section, according to reports.

Aguilera – who turned 27 on Tuesday – is expected to give birth on January 10th, the New York Post newspaper reports.

"Christina has a C-section scheduled for January 10 but she might need to push the date of the delivery up," a source says.

The rap model and singer were reported to have tied the knot in Paris last week during their vacation, but Jigga’s rep says otherwise.
