Britney Spears Has No Time For Court Time

An illness apparently prevented Britney Spears from giving a court-ordered deposition in her ongoing custody trial at an attorney's office. When the singer didn't show, the lawyer started without her, taking testimony from the singer's former assistant Alli Sims and ex-manager Larry Rudolph, among others. The lawyers says, "I was told of a general (medical) condition, and Spears felt she couldn't attend."

Baywatch star David Hasselhoff checked himself into LA's Cedars Sinai Medical Center on December 3 and again on December 5, following drinking binges. He was diagnosed with severe alcohol poisoning on both occasions. Hasselhoff's two daughters, Taylor and Hayley, with ex-wife Pamela Bach are reportedly devastated by the relapse and the fact that Hoff won't let them visit him in hospital.
