‘High School Musical’ star Zac Efron says he hopes he can follow in the footsteps of Leonardo DiCaprio and leave his teen idol status behind and carve out a serious acting career, but says it’s not easy.
“Leonardo DiCaprio is someone whose career path I would love to emulate,” Zac told Entertainment Weekly.
“The problem is there’s not enough scripts about giant boats sinking that are immersed in a love story. I can’t find that script. I’m thinking about writing Titanic 2. It would pick up right after where the last one left off.”
Zac was named one of the magazine’s 25 Top Stars of 2007.
