The Spice Girls’ comeback song Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) isn’t doing too well on UK Radio.
Despite selling out tickets for their reunion tour, the band’s ballad has only been played once on BBC Radio 1.
"The opinion of the Radio 1 playlist team is that the song isn't strong enough. Clearly there's a huge number of Spice Girls fans out there - look at the (concert) tickets they have sold," George Ergatoudis, Head Of Music at the station says.
"But Headlines is very disappointing. The song simply isn't strong enough. It would have been a B-side in their heyday."
Victoria and co’s single is also doing badly on the UK single chart - at number 20 - having sold only 4,907 download copies.
