"Supernatural" star Katie Cassidy, 20, was arrested by Tuscon police for underage drinking last month. But the juicy part of the story is that she told cops she was someone else because, she told them, she is a "Hollywood actress" and, it "would not look good."
THEN, Katie, who is the daughter of 70s icon David Cassidy, tells them she's Taylor Quinn Cole - the name of an actress who guested on show!
The real Taylor Cole, is 23. She has done guest spots on "Supernatural" and "Summerland."
Records show Katie was arrested Oct. 30 after the 19-year-old driver of the Chevy truck she was riding in was pulled over for moving violations. But cops took an interest in Katie when they observed that her speech was slurred, her movements clumsy, and she smelled of booze.
According to a police report, Katie told cops her name was Taylor Quinn Cole, that she was 21, and lived in Vancouver, Canada. And said she didn't have any identification on her. (She actually lives in West Hollywood, Los Angeles.) When officers asked her date of birth, she replied, "4-29-84" - only to be told that that birthdate would have made her 23. Doh!
A source tells TheSmokingGun.com that the star's blood alcohol level was 0.16, twice the legal limit in Arizona.
The star was arraigned this week and is next due in court on December 18 to face two misdemeanor charges - including false reporting to a law enforcement agent.
