Kate Hudson has shot down “absolutely false” rumours she’s dating Heath Ledger.
The pair were reported to have been seen "kissing and making out" while at New York’s Beatrice Inn last week.
But Kate’s spokesperson says: "This is absolutely untrue. They ran into each other and chatted briefly, but that was the extent of it."
Heath recently split from his fiancée, ‘Brokeback Mountain’ co-star Michelle Williams.
Kate, who was recently linked to Orlando Bloom, has just divorced Chris Robinson.
