George Clooney and a female friend were having dinner at Madeo, a restaurant in LA when the star noticed a woman, who was with a group of other women at the next table, was taking pictures. Assuming she was taking pictures of him, George asked her to stop. That's when Romance Novel cover model Fabio stood up and said, no, George, I'm at this table and she's taking pictures of us. Then he dropped an insult: "Stop being a diva."
Whoa! George didn't like that kind of talk and got up to give the 6-foot-3 Fabio a girly shove.
One eye witness told In Touch Weekly magazine: "George looked annoyed when Fabio went to his table. George stood up, dropped the F-bomb and then went to push him. It turned into a shoving match."
"George was drinking. He wasn't drunk, but he certainly wasn't stone sober, either."
Another source said: "The waiters broke it up before it got out of hand."
According to reports, George hastily paid his bill and left without finishing his meal.
Fabio's manager told the magazine, "George is lucky he didn't end up in the ER."
