TV bounty hunter Duane 'Dog' Chapman has publicly apologized for using the N-word during a private argument with his son regarding his choice of girlfriend - a tirade that was recorded and then posted online. In the audio, dog says, "I'm not going to take a chance ever in life of losing everything I've worked for for 30 years because some (expletive) n—- heard us say 'n—-' and turned us into the Enquirer magazine."
Well...that's EXACTLY what happened. The Enquirer was first to post the rant online, followed by TMZ.
Chapman said the clip was completely taken out of context. "I was disappointed in his choice of a friend, not due to her race, but her character," he said of his son's Mexican girlfriend. "However, I should have never used that term."
The National Enquirer obtained tapes of Chapman calling his son's girlfriend a "n*****" and asking him to keep her away from his film crew:
"I don't care if she's a Mexican, a whore, whatever. It's not because she's black, it's because we use the word n- - - - - sometimes here [...] "I'm not going to take a chance ever in life of losing everything I've worked for, for 30 years, because some f- - -ing n- - - - - heard us saying n- - - - -. [...] It's that we use the word n- - - -. We don't mean, 'You f- - -ing scum n- - - - - without a soul... We don't mean that s- - -, but America would think we mean that."
In a statement released yesterday, the 54-year-old Dog said he has "utmost respect and aloha for black people who have suffered so much due to racial discrimination and acts of hatred."
"I did not mean to add yet another slap in the face to an entire race of people who have brought so many gifts to this world," he said. "I am ashamed of myself and I pledge to do whatever I can to repair this damage I have caused."
"My sincerest, heartfelt apologies go out to every person I have offended for my regrettable use of very inappropriate language. I am deeply disappointed in myself for speaking out of anger to my son and using such a hateful term in a private phone conversation."
His show "Dog the Bounty Hunter" is the highest rated series on the A&E channel. It's believed that A&E may take "Dog" off the air for a while.

Too bad....Dog does more for this country than any other bounty hunter i've known.
He removes the bad people from the area and holds them accountable. Interesting that whites have to beg a pardon, and black community sets like some "god" and holds a judgement on a good man.
What makes those that judge so high and mighty?
I thought our Creator was to be judge & jury?
What's up with that?
too bad so sad that we can't all get along.
Remember King from California.....Can't we just all get along?
I will not watch A&E till the Dog is back.
