50 Cent has defended not keeping his promise to retire from rap after losing an album chart battle with Kanye West, saying it’s “impossible” for rappers to quit.
Fiddy vowed to hang up his mic if Kanye’s Graduation beat his Curtis album to the top spot on the Billboard chart.
Despite losing the chart battle in September, 50 says he won’t be retiring.
"I don't know if it's possible for a rapper to retire, rappers are like fighters,” 50 says.
"They condition themselves to be the best. All rappers think they are the best. And they are just waiting for everyone else to recognise they are the best.
"You'll see them come back and come back."
