Paris Hilton Throws Strop Over Hair Bill

Paris Hilton reportedly threw a hissy fit last week after she was asked to pay the full price for hair extensions.

The socialite was angered that she was to pay the full $1400 for Dreamcatchers hair extensions at the The Salon in the Beverly Hills. As she had recently promoted the brand, she expected to get them for free.

“We just didn’t know where to look,” a salon source said.

Heath Ledger is Great as the Joker, says Caine

Sir Michael Caine has praised Heath Ledger’s portrayal of The Joker in the new Batman film, The Dark Knight, saying it’s just as good as Jack Nicholson’s original Joker but even nastier.
"The problem was, how do you top Jack Nicholson as the Joker? Heath Ledger plays the Joker and he is fantastic," says Caine, who plays Alfred the butler.
"I couldn't see how Jack could be topped but he's at least equal to him.

Red Hot Chili Peppers Sue Over 'Californication'

"It's understood that Hollywood sells Californication"... The Red Hot Chili Peppers have sued Showtime Networks over the title of that craptastic TV show "Californication," which was the name of the band's hit 1999 album and song. The lawsuit alleges unfair competition, dilution of the value of the name and unjust enrichment, claiming the title Californication is "inherently distinctive, famous ... and immediately associated in the mind of the consumer" with the half-naked, animalistic Red Hot Chili Peppers. Lil Romeo Signs To Play at USC

Honor student and hip-hop star Lil' Romeo has been awarded a hoop scholarship to attend the University of Southern California next fall. Although Romeo announced his intentions to attend USC last spring - so it's no surprise - yesterday he officially signed his letter of intent at a press conference at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills.

Geri Halliwell has reportedly invited Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and their kids to watch the Spice Girls in concert because she’s desperate to make some Hollywood friends for herself and her daughter.

Geri thinks Jolie and Pitt’s children, Maddox (6), Pax (3), Zahara(2) and Shiloh (1) would make great playmates for her 18-month-old baby Bluebell.

"Geri dotes on Bluebell and only wants the very best for her. She has sent personal invites to Angelina,” a source told ‘the Mirror’.

Lauryn Hill's Out of Control, Says Wyclef Jean

Wyclef Jean says his band the Fugees will never properly reform unless ex-bandmate Lauryn Hill gets "psychological help".
The hip hop trio split in 1997 and briefly reformed in 2005, sparking rumours the group were to release a comeback album.
But Jean says the group aren’t able to work on an album together because of Hill’s mental state.
"Nothing is going to happen while Lauryn is in this weird place that she's in right now. She needs psychological help and I think it's about time someone spoke out and said this," Jean says.

Nicole Richie Throws Baby Shower

Nicole Richie held a star-studded baby shower over the weekend, to celebrate the upcoming birth of her first child with Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden.
The socialite invited around 90 guests to the party in Beverly Hills, California. The bash was hosted by Nicole’s mom Brenda and organised by her sister Sophia and friends Paris Hilton and Masha Gordon.
One guest gave Nicole, 26, sneakers for a baby boy and a maternity T-shirt with the picture of a boy on the front, although Richie has not yet publicly revealed the sex of her baby.

Sienna Miller Signs Up for GI Joe Movie

Janice says: "I co-wrote that movie but I was disappointed with the film. We hired an unknown, who won a Golden Globe for the role, one Miss Angelina Jolie.

"The role kick-started her career to superstardom. But Gia was not depicted by Miss Jolie the way Gia actually was.

Brave Kanye went ahead with his show in Paris on Saturday night, a week after the death of his mother Donda.
