Suri Cruise, the outrageously cute daughter of Kate Holmes and Tom Cruise, is growing up the Scientology way. It's being reported that the little cherub's not allowed to associate with riff-raff civilians - that is, non-Scientologists - and US Weekly is reporting that she is supervised by Scientology-practicing nannies who like daddy Tom don't believe in scolding baby Suri, but will only explain to the toddler that bad behavior is the "wrong action."
An insider at the Cruise camp said that “Tom doesn’t like associating with people who aren’t Scientologists.”
The insider says TomKat are always trying to please the 18-month-old: “Suri pretty much does whatever she wants, whenever she wants. If she fusses before bed, they let her stay up later.
"If they want her to go swimming and she cries, they’ll take her out. If she whines about food, they’ll ask her what else she wants to eat. They always want to please her.”
But then the article pointed out that Suri has also been "raised on a mixture of barley water, milk and corn syrup", rather than breast milk or baby formula. That is what Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard thought was best for babies. So it's hard to say what she's been eating - whatever she demands, or the barley formula - but she sure looks like a healthy and happy baby!
