David Hasselhoff was back in a hospital after suffering an alcoholic relapse earlier this week. "David had a brief relapse and immediately recognized the importance of addressing it with the assistance of his doctors. He is doing fine and will be back home in the morning," Hasselhoff's mouthpiece Judy Katz told TMZ.com.
The National Enquirer reported that Hasselhoff had been admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for detox.
“He looked awful when they brought him in,” The Enquirer quoted a source as saying. “His color was ashen. He felt sick. It was just so sad.”
The Baywatch and Knight Rider actor is preparing to shoot a new film, Anaconda 3. The Hoff will play a mercenary who goes on a mission to capture a snake that could help cure a deadly illness. Shooting begins next year in Romania, with the movie expected to go straight to DVD after a premiere on the Sci-Fi channel.
