Thank God Samaire Armstrong doesn't have drug or alcohol or bulimic problems, otherwise we'd be wondering what she's doing in rehab. But according to her people, the O.C. and Dirty Sexy Money star isn't exactly, really, officially, technically in “rehab” - no, she's just seeking treatment for some unspecified “issues.” Glad that's cleared up!
On Friday afternoon, Samaire’s publicist released the following statement:
“Samaire Armstrong decided to enter an outpatient facility to deal with some personal issues in a therapeutic atmosphere and is doing very well. She continues to work on her show and will be completing her treatment in a matter of weeks.”
Samaire plays Anna on "The O.C." and Emily on "Entourage." In her new show, "Dirty Sexy Money," she portrays Juliet Darling, a spoiled rich kid and aspiring actress with, well, substance abuse issues. Talk about life imitating art!
