R&B singer Kelis has been dropped from her record label following poor album sales.
SonyBMG’s Jive label ditched the songstress after her last album Kelis Was Here failed to sell as well as her 2003 album Tasty, which launched the hit Milkshake.
Kelis’ manager says the star is now working on an independent dance album with Gnarls Barkley’s Cee-Lo and a pop project with Guy Chambers, who has previously worked with Robbie Williams.
