Former Charlie's Angels star Farrah Fawcett believes she has been cured of cancer of the lower intestine in Germany, as the result of an alternate form of treatment not available in the US. A source told the National Enquirer: "Since her return from her September trip to Germany, she says she's 100 per cent cancer-free. She believes it's nothing short of a miracle."
But another source disputes the magazine's claim, reporting that although the 60-year-old actress is feeling better, she cannot yet be declared "cancer free".
The source said: "She has not told anyone that she is cancer free, nor can I confirm or deny that she has cancer. And as any medical reporter or doctor or patient will be quick to tell anyone 'cancer free' can only be declared in a matter of time - certainly not three or four weeks after treatment."
Farrah happily announced she was cancer-free in February, insisting she had "won the most difficult fight of my life". However, she was left devastated after doctors found a small, malignant polyp during a routine examination.
