Rap star Diddy has accused the media of over-blowing accusations that he assaulted a man at a New York night club earlier this month.
"It was something that was just totally overblown...I don't fight over girls!" Diddy, real name, Sean Combs, said.
Adding: "I am a human being and I will get into an argument at times."
Diddy is under investigation for his alleged involvement in a fight over a woman at a New York hotspot on the morning of October 14.
Acevedo, 31, has accused Combs, 37, of punching him twice in the face at the Manhattan neighborhood of SoHo. Police say Diddy could face a misdemeanor charge of third-degree assault.
