Amy Winehouse was arrested and fined in Norway for possession of 7 g of marijuana. The singer and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, and one other individual were arrested in their hotel room at the Radisson SAS after a "tip-off". They were taken to a police station where they were held overnight, paid fines and were released.
Amy was fined 500 euros ($714) for possession of about 7 grams (0.2 ounces) of marijuana.
"She spent a few hours in custody from Thursday evening to early Friday, she got a fine and then she was released," a police spokesman said. "The case is over for us."
The singer has consistently faced allegations of drug and alcohol abuse recently. She pulled out of a number of scheduled performances over the summer amid rumors she had agreed to go into rehab, although her record company stressed the cancellations were for "health issues".
