YouTube video celebrity Chris "Leave Britney Alone!" Crocker is going to be as big a diva as his idol Britney Spears is.
Tracked down by TMZ, the platinum blond-bobber who bats fake eyelashes is making the most of his 15 minutes of fame, saying of Britney: "She's a national treasure ... I think people need to let Britney do drugs, they need to let people hit people with cars. She's Britney Spears!"
The YouTube phenom had one more message for Brit via TMZ: "Live for me, not your children!"
Crocker, 19, who lives in his grandparents' basement, has been signed to a TV production deal with 44 Blue Productions, according to a note in Variety magazine.
The company says it plans to create a show around the YouTube star and his life as a gay man in a small U.S. town.
"It's going to pretty much be the 'Chris Crocker experience,'" a spokesman for the production house said. "We consider him a rebel character that people will find interesting. He's going to be a TV star."
