Britney Spears broke down in tears following her big comeback performance at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), according to reports.
The 25-year-old pop starlet is said to have been “crying badly” backstage after her widely-dissed performance of new single 'Gimme More' at the Las Vegas event.
"She's devastated,” a source close to Spears said. "She was really nervous and knows she screwed up."
It’s also claimed Britney fired her hairstylist minutes before performing.
