Sherri Shepherd has been revealed as the new co-host of 'The View', ending months of rumors.
The former Less Than Perfect star made her first appearance on the daytime talk show this morning.
“I am so happy that Sherri Shepherd is joining our panel,” said View co-host and co-executive producer Barbara Walters. “She is irreverent, charming, funny and lovable. I look forward to a wonderful year on The View.”
The delay in announcing Shepherd as co-host was reportedly due to ongoing contract negotiations.
