Actress Monica Bellucci is one Italian who doesn't think Americans are lazy. She says she loves America but hates working in the states during the summer because everyone works so hard. Monica thinks Americans should just chill - take the entire month of August off - like Europeans do! (We're with you, Monica!)
Currently in New York promoting her new Clive Owen film "Shoot 'Em Up", the star says, "For me life is more important than anything - that's the Italian in me. In Europe, we need a quality of life."
The "Passion of the Christ" star prefers the laid back work ethos of Europeans, especially during the summer months. "In August, nobody works. Here, there is too much stress. I get overwhelmed."
"I don't know how you deal with that. It's just another way to do things."
"I love America. I come here and I'm full of this energy and I feel alive and then after a while I need to go back and relax a bit."
