Scary Spice Melanie Brown has attacked reports that she abandoned her kids in order to elope to Las Vegas to marry producer Stephen Belafonte.
Mel B labeled reports that she left her baby daughter with her housekeeper for several days to wed as "fictitious".
Her former housekeeper, Tonia Lamere, claimed: “One evening of baby-sitting turned into four days. The child was sick, there was no nanny, and when Mel called, she never even asked about the baby."
But a representative slammed the claims, saying: "Melanie is a hands-on mother completely dedicated to the upbringing of her children and the well-being of her entire family."
Adding: "Any fictitious accusations to the contrary stem from greedy people looking to make a buck."
