You can't sing or dance or act and you're on a reality show with people you hate, so why would you stick around? Oh, yes. The money. Lauren Conrad has decided that sipping lattes and putting up with Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt is worth it. Seventeen magazine reports:
“I actually came dangerously close to not doing season three, because I really didn't want to do the show with Heidi and Spencer. I’m not who they are..."
"I don't stage my own publicity. I just kind of live my life and do my job, and I don't want to be grouped with them.”
Just how easy is the money coming in for Lauren?
E! Online’s Answer Bitch provided the answer:
"Well, Lauren "L.C." Conrad does get to operate ongoing hot war with Heidi Montag in the pages of Us Weekly every week, free of charge. If that's not a fine compensation, I don't know what is. Oh, wait. Yes, I do. How about an estimated $10,000 to $25,000 per episode? That's the general industry range for top reality stars such as Conrad, Montag, wannabe K-Fed or Spencer Pratt."
