Pop prince Justin Timberlake leads the nominees for this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, with four nominations.
Timberlake - who won four trophies at the MTV’s Video Music Awards earlier this month - is trailed by Beyonce, Amy Winehouse and Rihanna, who have three nominations each.
Nelly Furtado, Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne, Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance also have triple nods.
The ceremony will take place in Munich on November 1 and will be hosted by rap star Snoop Dogg.
Mika and the Foo Fighters have been confirmed as performers.
