You're going to love this: Paris Hilton has been "banned" from attending this year’s Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. Apparently, the locals felt that the presence of the party princess at last year's beer bash “cheapened" the event!
But it wasn't her skankiness that pissed off the Germans. Paris - who is now dating a pizza delivery guy named Alex Vaggo - showed up at the huge event to promote her own ... canned wine!
E! Online reports:
"Munich locals complained that their annual bender was "selling out" by having celebs shill during the big swill. But probably the key reason for banning Paris was that last year she was pimping her own brand of canned wine. For Bavarian beer snobs, canned beer is blasphemy, canned wine an abomination."
Munich opened the beer taps last Saturday to launch Oktoberfest. An estimated six million people are expected to attend the beer celebration over 16 days.
