He didn't really say farewell - he just need a long vacation. Eminem is back and says he's working on his first studio album in three years, despite previously saying he was done with recording and his greatest hits album 'Curtain Call' would be his last.
Eminem said: "I'm always working - I'm always in the studio. It feels good right now. For a while, I didn't want to go back to the studio. I went through some personal things, but I'm coming out of those personal things now and it feels good."
When Em released 'Curtain Call' in 2005 he was obviously burned out with his career and the torment of his personal life - dealing with wife - ex-wife - re-wife Kimberly.
He said at the time: "I'm at a point in my life right now where I feel like I don't know where my career is going. This is the reason I called it 'Curtain Call', because this could be the final thing. I don't know."
