After dealing with heavy shows like "The Sopranos" and "Oz", actress Edie Falco is tackling something lighter - albeit "madder" - when she appears on the very funny "30 Rock" this season, reports Variety.
The show's creator and star Tina Fey can't wait to get the mafia don's wife on the set: "We're thrilled to have such an amazing actress come join us. Also, a lot of guys on our crew want 'The Sopranos' ending explained to them."
"I have laughed out loud at this show, and I am thrilled for the opportunity to work with such great comic actors," Falco says. "I am very excited."
Falco will be one of several high-profile guests on the second-year comedy. Jerry Seinfeld will appear on the Oct. 4 season premiere, while Rip Torn ("The Larry Sanders Show") and Will Arnett ("Blades of Glory") will also make guest appearances.
