TV's Emmy Awards are trying to hook and book Britney Spears, who is currently the world's greatest comedy act / freak show, to see if she can't top her disaster appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards last Sunday. According to reports, the pop tart wants to redeem herself.
Thankfully, she won't be dancing, says a show source: "The idea is to have her come on and apologize for the VMAs. She's weighing the offer."

O.J. Simpson has been questioned by Las Vegas police about a robbery at a Vegas casino, and it happened on the very same day his infamous "(If) I Did It" book is being released. The robbery incident, involving O.J. football memorabilia and other stuff, apparently occurred in a guest room at the craptastic Palace Station Casino. 
The White Stripes have called off their entire UK tour, just days after they pretty much canceled their US tour. The band announced on Tuesday that drummer Meg White was "suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time. We hate to let people down and are very sorry.'" 
He didn't really say farewell - he just need a long vacation. Eminem is back and says he's working on his first studio album in three years, despite previously saying he was done with recording and his greatest hits album 'Curtain Call' would be his last.
