Victoria Beckham will have to watch her spending! She's been given only a $5 million credit limit at posh Beverly Hills store Neiman Marcus. The Spice Girl, who moved to LA with husband David and their three sons last month, has been shopping her heart out ever since she arrived in the US. A source revealed to In Touch Weekly magazine: "Victoria has been doing all she can to boost the US economy!"
But so far, she's spent nothing close to the $5 million she'd be allowed to ring up (if she wanted to!) at Needless Markup.
"She went to Barney's in Los Angeles last week. She spent $3,670 on a Goyard cosmetics case, $5,745 on an Azzedine Alaia mini-dress and $4,995 on a purple Dolce and Gabbana dress," reported a spy. (Yawn.)
Other than spending David's money, Posh Spice has been doing her best to dazzle us. Although her reality show was a flop (The New York Post described her hour-long exhibition of televised shopping as "an orgy of self-indulgence"), she's got a book on fashion coming out. "That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything in Between," will be published by HarperCollins in November.
"I've always been a girl's girl," she said in a statement. "And I know from experience that making the very best of yourself is something any woman can do."
