Is Reese Witherspoon ready to take the cheating Ryan Phillippe back? The beautiful couple, who separated last October amid reports he had an affair with Aussie actress Abbie Cornish, have recently been hanging out with each other. "They met for lunch this week at the Votre Sante health-food restaurant," says a source. "And they're going on runs together around the Brentwood Country Club."
"Both are regular, dedicated runners. Running is a very healing, meditative thing, so maybe it will work its magic on them."
A friend of Witherspoon tells us, "Reese and Ryan are trying to work it out. They are still close."
But ... Phillippe's rep told PageSix, "It's not true." No word from Reese's people yet.
Their seven year marriage produced two children, Ava Elizabeth, 7, and Deacon, 3. .
