Saying that the show was "demeaning to other people and juvenile," a slimmed-down Kelly Osbourne has quit her new reality show planned with fellow rock progeny Kimberley Stewart after viewing the pilot episode.
According to reports, the show sucked was supposed to follow the pair as they took on everyday jobs like working in a fast food joint and collecting trash - and make fun of people just like Paris and Nicole did for years on the "Simple Life".
The daughter of the Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne claimed that it was HER decision to ax the show (good for you Kelly!), but other sources say the producers want to replace Kelly and KIm -- with Paris Hilton and the other homemade sex tape superstar, Kim Kardashian. A source told In Touch Weekly magazine: “The network just wasn’t into Kelly and Kimberly’s show.”
Meanwhile, Kelly has lost a ton of weight and is now focusing on joining the cast of "Chicago" at the Cambridge Theatre in the West End in London on September 10 for her professional theatrical debut. She will play prison matron Mama Morton--the role made famous by Queen Latifah in the movie adaptation of the play. The gig is set to run for 7-weeks.
Chicago producer Barry Weissley said, "We're very excited that Kelly is joining the production. She's internationally recognized, she's unique - it's the perfect match."
