Keira Knightley says she won't go commando or get falling down drunk in public just because she's famous. She told Empire magazine: "The whole celebrity thing is not magic. They are just real people proving they are sluttier than everybody else because they don't wear any knickers."
The 22-year-old British actress continued her unnamed swipe at stars like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan - who have both been photographed sans underwear and have been in and out of rehab several times.
She slammed their drunken antics too: "I'm not going to get blind drunk and then stumble out of a club and fall over and vomit in front of people. I'm not saying I don't do that in private, but I try not to."
Keira was attending the Venice Film Festival promoting her new movie, the critically acclaimed 'Atonement' - which premiered at the festival - and expressed her wishes that it will be a huge Oscar-winning hit. "I hope audiences will cry their eyes out when they see it. What a dream it would be if it enjoyed the same success as 'The Queen'."
