The Dude Jeff Bridges regrets he didn't encourage his three daughters to carry on the Bridges acting dynasty. The Big Lebowski began a career in Hollywood as a child with brother Beau working with their late father Lloyd , and realises it's been a mistake not to encourage his own kids. He says. "I didn't discourage the girls [but] neither did I make opportunities for them and I'm regretting it now."
"I wasn't as encouraging as my father was with me. Dad really loved showbiz and wanted all his kids to go into it."
His daughters are only in their twenties so there's still time.
"They're all at the stage of their lives when they're questioning what they're going to do, so I say, 'You might want to consider acting.' "I wish I'd brought it up earlier."
