Rapper Foxy Brown will be spending the next couple of weeks as a guest of the New York Department of Corrections on Rikers Island for violating her probation. She'll be in lock-up at least until her hearing on September 5. After that, the pregnant rapper says she'll be getting married in September. Let's hope Fox Boogie sorts herself out real soon...
Foxy got in trouble (again) when she she smashed her Brooklyn neighbor in the face with her BlackBerry phone. Then, just one day after her surrender to cops for that, police in New Jersey pulled her over after she was seen talking on her cell phone while driving her Land Rover. Officers cited her for talking on the phone and failing to stop at a stop sign.
In addition, Brown gave F-Troop a false birth date and a variation of her name. When they found out who she really was, she was cited for driving with a suspended license. And her Land Rover's registration also had been suspended.
A year ago, Brown was sentenced to three years of probation and to anger management therapy for attacking two manicurists at a Manhattan nail salon during an argument over payment in 2004.
