Britney Spears has just made another blundering career move: this time she has decided that she can do a better job at handling her own business deals as well as publicity. Britney has cut ties with her manager, her publicist, and most recently, according to a story in Star magazine, she cut ties with her mom after the two got into a vicious bitch slap.
A source tells Star that Britney is handling all of her business personally now, and was even seen signing her own contracts to host the grand opening of LAX nightclub at the Luxor Hotel on Aug 31st.
But her personal life is still in turmoil as the wig-wearing pop princess and her mom Lynne got into a argument which turned physical and left “Lynne shaken and Britney more determined than ever to cut her mother out of her life for good,” according to Star magazine.
The trouble reportedly began when Lynne Spears stopped by her daughter’s house on June 15. “Lynne barged into the house and insisted on taking the kids out to spend some private time with them,” an insider told the Star. “She didn’t ask or suggest, she demanded. Then she began denigrating Britney’s mothering skills and losing her temper at the same time.”
It's believed that Brit has since had legal papers served against her mother to keep her away from the kids.
“Despite their problems, Lynne cares deeply for Britney and wants to find a way to help her,” a “friend” told Star. “She thinks antidepressant drugs may be the answer. Lynne feels Britney has severe depression issues, and they are in large part the cause of her apparent manic behavior and past problems with alcohol.”
