Shia LaBeouf had landed at the No. 2 on Entertainment Weekly magazine's list of stars. He's got a career that other young actors can only dream of and he knows it. While appearing on The Early Show on CBS to promote "Transformers", Shia said his success has been a huge blur: "There's no time for reflection because you're in the midst of it. I haven't had time to like look back on it. I'm sure after Indy I'll have time to go 'wow.' Right now it's living in the wow, the dream of it."
The just-turned-21-year-old Shia had a party for his birthday, but not in a Lindsay Lohan kind of way. He explained how he and his buddies had what he called a Humphrey Bogart night where they dressed up in suits and went out on the town.
"They don't look good in suits, my friends; they look awkward," Shia said. "We went to a cigar lounge and drank scotch and smoked cigars. We didn't fit in at all. We didn't know how to hold the cigar, drink the scotch, felt grown up. It was great."
The "Disturbia" actor will not only be seen in the upcoming "Transformers", one of the most highly anticipated movies this summer, he will also be in the Indiana Jones 4 film. Some of his other films include "Holes", "I, Robot", "Constantine," and "Bobby".
