Jessica Alba Blames Strained Relationship With Her Folks on Michael Weatherly

Jessica AlbaModel and actress Jessica Alba says her love affair with her Dark Angel co-star Michael Weatherly put a big strain on her relationship with her parents. Despite her adult age of 20 when she became engaged to Michael, her parents did not approve of their living together or their 4 year relationship.

Michael went on to star in NCIS after Dark Angel was cancelled. Jessica, 26, is now dating director's assistant Cash Warren.

She says, "I don't know (why I got engaged). I was a virgin. He was 12 years older than me. I thought he knew better.

"My parents weren't happy. They're really religious," she says. "They believe God wouldn't allow The Bible to be written if it wasn't what they are supposed to be believe. I'm completely different.
