A new ‘X-Files’ movie is in the pipeline, nearly ten years after the first film, according to reports.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, who starred in the Golden Globe winning TV series which ran from 1993-2002, are both “on board” to step back into their Mulder and Scully characters for the film - Duchovny said.
He added he will receive the movie’s script next week. The script will be written by Chris Carter, the show’s creator, and writer Frank Spotnitz.
Duchovny is currently promoting his new movie, the comedy ‘Californication’.
