David Beckham’s used to being followed by the paparazzi, but says even he’s shocked by the amount of attention he and wife Victoria have received since settling down in Los Angeles.
The Beckhams moved to Beverly Hills earlier this month and were met by tons of fans and snappers. But the hysteria hasn’t died down yet.
David says: “It’s definitely over the top here in LA.
“In London, if we’d go out to dinner, there would be four or five cars following us.
“The other night we had 47. No joke. I get nervous. They run red lights and you’re just waiting for accidents to happen.”
A source told British newspaper the ‘Daily Star’ that David’s right to be concerned by the US paparazzi‘s wild ways..
“If Posh and Becks think they’ve had it bad in the past, they ain’t seen nothing. Some paparazzi do speed and coke to keep themselves going. They get so wired that they’ll wrestle each other out of the way to get their shot.”
