Dave Chappelle is “fine” after being has treated for exhaustion in hospital, his publicist has announced.
The comedian was treated in an emergency department but was released a few hours later.
"It was exhaustion, he had been travelling," Carla Sims said, declining to release information on in which hospital he was treated and any other details.
The funny man has previously told the Oprah Winfrey show that his job is "incredibly stressful".
It was rumoured that Chappelle checked into a mental health center in South Africa, where he travelled to after quitting his Comedy Central in May 2005 and declining a $50 million with the channel. Chappelle has denied these rumours.
