Britney has cut ties with her manager, her publicist, and most recently, according to a story in Star magazine, she cut ties with her mom after the two got into a vicious bitch slap.

A Waste Management company claims Goodfellas" actor Paul Sorvino has refused to pay an overcharge on his bill, so to show they mean business, the company dumped a mountain-size load of horse manure in the driveway of the actor's Pennsylvania farm.
Sorvino's daughter, Amanda, told the local newspaper, "I'm just amazed at this. I think this is a really scary, criminal act."

The Emmy award nominations were announced this morning and "The Sopranos" are gonna wrap up their final season with a bada-bing. James Gandolfini is nominated again as best drama actor and his competition this year includes Kiefer Sutherland of "24," Denis Leary of "Rescue Me," Hugh Laurie of "House," and James Spader of "Boston Legal." Odds-on favorite this year: Hugh Laurie. What?? No Wentworth Miller?? Grrrrrrr!!!

Despite being dropped by her record label last month, Paris Hilton is heading back to the studio to record her second album.
Paris was dumped by Warner Bros after her debut single ‘Stars are Blind’ and self-titled album failed to set the charts on fire despite major hype. The single reached number 18, with its subsequent single ‘Nothing in this World’ charting at just number 89 on the pop charts. The album reached number six.
But the poor sales and tongue-lashing from critics haven’t put the heiress off making another record.

Mischa Barton says she’s quitting the Hollywood party circuit because she’s had enough of the two-faced, bitchy nature of other girls on the scene.
The former ‘O.C’ star says she wants to get away from the clubbing circuit and hopes to be taken more seriously as an actress.
“When I got there [L.A.] I didn't know anything about the business and you don't make the best of friends. You make a few mistakes when you're that age and it took me a while to find the friends I needed, to be truly comfortable. I'm a private person, you won't find more than four or five true friends around me, ever,” she says.

Although Kate Moss is footing the bill for her ex Pete Doherty’s latest attempt to kick heroin, the supermodel has reportedly changed all her phone numbers so the rock junkie can’t contact her again.
Kate has changed her landline and cell phone numbers to avoid Pete, the ‘Mirror’ newspaper reports, following rumours she changed to locks to her London home.
“Pete was still phoning up last weekend and in the end it was too much even for Kate,” a source told the paper.
“She thought she had made things clear - that he should never get in touch with her again, under any circumstances.

Sales figures indicate ‘Umbrella’, which features Jay-Z, is likely to top the chart for its tenth week - industry bible ‘Music Week’ reports.
If Rihanna manages to hold on to the top spot for the tenth week, she will become only the seventh artist in UK chart history to reach double figures.

Winona Ryder has finally spoken out about her arrest for shoplifting in December 2001.
The actress told Vogue magazine that painkillers were to blame for the “embarrassing” incident, as they left her in a state of “confusion”.
“Two months prior to that, I broke my arm in two places, and the doctor, a sort of quack doctor, was giving me a lot of stuff and I was taking it at first to get through the pain. And then there was this weird point when you don’t know if you are in pain but you’re taking it,” she says.
“I didn’t have this tremendous sense of guilt, because I hadn’t hurt anyone. Had I physically harmed someone or caused harm to a human being, I think it would have been an entirely different experience.

Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah is rumoured to have become engaged to her boyfriend Freddie Fuller, despite the fact that her relationship with him is generating negative publicity and causing friction between her and her bandmates.
The couple are said to be dating in secret after the Sugababe’s management and record label bosses advised Amelle to dump Freddie, who is among three men awaiting trial over the alleged rape of Amelle’s younger sister Samiya.
“She has agreed to marry him. They were meeting in secret at friends’ houses,” a source says.
