Jackass' Johnny Knoxville is being hit with a $10.5m (£5.3m) lawsuit over claims he did not receive payment for a stunt which involved him putting his genitals in a mousetrap.
Perry Caravello claims Knoxville, along with talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and radio star Adam Corolla, promised him $10m for the stunt which left him injured. Footage of the stunt later appeared on the internet, which Caravello says left him feeling humiliated.
Knoxville, Kimmel and Corolla have not yet commented on the allegations.
Caravello also claims Knoxville promised him payment for promoting his movie's DVD release on Corolla's radio show on the condition he performed the mouse trap stunt.
The actor "agreed to do so and, much to his emotional tranquillity and to his physical harm, was severely injured when the trap literally went on his manhood", papers filed at the Los Angeles Supreme Court state.
Additionally, he claims the stunt was filmed with his permission and he did not receive payment or receive an account of profits and royalties from DVD sales of the movie.
